As we move into this week, the energy can feel like a mix of everything at once. There’s the excitement of gathering and the warmth of traditions, but there can also be the rush of travel, the noise of busy kitchens, or simply the heaviness that sometimes accompanies the holidays.

Whatever your energy feels like this week, whether you’re feeling energized and social or quiet and reflective, I want to remind you that your only job right now is to simply be.

In the spirit of slowing down, I wanted to share a few tools to help you find peace amidst the fullness of the season.

5 Prompts for Gratitude

If you have five minutes this morning (or evening), grab a notebook and a cup of tea. Try to answer these not with what you think you should say, but with what truly feels good for your heart.

  1. What is one moment of this year that I am truly thankful for?

  2. Who has brought light into my life recently?

  3. What am I learning to appreciate more about myself?

  4. How have I grown internally this year?

  5. What simple comforts mean the most to me right now?
